Based upon Clapton's iconic 1954 Hardtail Strat, which was most famously used to record his legendary album "Slowhand", this was the only Hardtail in Clapton's collection and inspired the set-up of the majority of his Strats since (often locked down and blocked to create the same sustain and response.
Used extensively for slide across both studio and stage work from 1979 - 1985, this really is a beautiful piece featuring trademark wear to the fingebroard from Clapton's ferocious speed and spell-binding lead riffs.
