Peter Green has been considered by many as the greatest blues guitarist that has ever lived and his treasured 59' Gibson Les Paul, one of the greatest 'hero' guitars of all time.
The guitar was later purchased by Gary Moore, who made his own unique contribution to the guitar's history when it was in a car accident with him! The headstock was snapped off and subsequently repaired and fitted with a new set of Sperzel Tuners before "Greenie" found a new owner - METALLICA legend, Kirk Hammett. The guitar, now considerably faded through age and exposure to sunlight, is proudly played in the studio and in live performances to this day, her legacy continues...
