THE TPP JIMMY PAGE "DRAGON" TELECASTER TRIBUTE
Legend has it that the origins of this unusual Telecaster began when it was given to Jimmy Page by fellow musician and friend Jeff Beck after Page took his place in the Yardbirds. The strangely painted Fender Telecaster quickly became Jimmy’s principle player during much of his time in the Yardbirds and later featured heavily on the first Led Zeppelin album.
Nicknamed ‘The Dragon’, it has since become immortalised by Page fans everywhere, featuring a custom shaped clear scratchplate with crushed foil underlay, creating a bizarre ‘crinkled mirror’ effect, the "Dragon" Telecaster is a true classic and a very unique piece of guitar art.
