Sting is an artist that has influenced bass players and musicians the world over, constantly experimenting and staying true to the ideals that he, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland put together when they formed The Police. During this long and incredible journey, Sting's Fender Custom Jazz Bass has remained a constant companion, put together for Sting, the guitar harnessed a natural amber tinted Fender Jazz Bass body but incorporated that with a Fender Precision Bass neck that came together to give Sting all the performance he craved from both guitars. A heavy-duty Schaller bridge added sustain and punchy, powerful Seymour Duncan pickups gave him precise control of every tone that he wanted to deliver.
