"FOOL" SG TRIBUTE
One of the most iconic musical instruments of all time, Eric Clapton’s original "Fool" SG found its way into the hands of guitarist Todd Rundgren many years after CREAM split up and it became one of his principle players, nicknaming the guitar ‘Sunny’ (after CREAM's legendary rock anthem “Sunshine of your Love”). The guitar was in a sad state when Rundgren came into possession of it, so he had an artist re-finish the original neck artwork and top horn (which was originally purple / mauve but had almost worn completely away) and also had a stop-tailpiece fitted where the original Maestro Tremolo had once been - giving this classic a new lease of life.
